The North Attleborough Historical Society invites you and your friends to a unique event.  They are beginning its speakers program, this year, in August by having an evening with the Metacomet Greenway Association. Members of the association will be with us to discuss the exciting idea of having a 17 mile rail trail extending from Walpole to North Attleboro.

Celebrating Arts and Autism Art Show - This year, we will host a reception at the Churchwood Gallery in North Attleboro where you can view and enjoy the art throughout the month of September while bidding for and purchasing your favorite pieces online.

Call All Seniors - Cape Cod Lunch Train Trip!
The Council on Aging is partnering with the North Attleboro Senior Center, and the Friends of Attleboro Senior Center to present a Cape Cod Lunch Train Trip. On Wednesday September 27th, for $147 per person, you can get a ride to the Cape Cod Lunch Train and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience! Once you arrive in Hyannis, you will board the Colonial Lunch Train for a 2 hour journey and a 3 course meal. This time, the North Attleboro Animal Shelter is bringing you the "Back to School" edition, and we need YOUR creative ideas to make it pawsitively awesome!   Think you have the perfect animal’s name that screams "Back to School"? Here are some samples to spark your imagination:

One hundred and thirty-six years after they broke up, Attleboro and North Attleboro may be getting back together again — at least in some ways.

We commend Attleboro Mayor Cathleen Desimone and North Attleboro Town Manager Michael Borg for their recent meeting to discuss joint ventures between the communities. Though rivals in high school athletics, collaboration would seem to be the best way to help residents of both communities.

Empty Bowls Attleboro Area FUNDRAISER
Empty Bowls is a fundraiser to support those in the Attleboro area who are experiencing food insecurity.  Area potters and artists are back for another year, crafting hundreds of bowls to support Empty Bowls.
